The Duggar family, stars of the reality series 19 Kids & Counting, appeared on NBC's Today show this morning -- and despite a harrowing medical saga that began when their youngest daughter, Josie Duggar, was born perilously premature, the family may indeed keep on "Counting!"
Interviewed by Meredith Vieira, fertile matriarch Michelle Duggar was joined by husband Jim Bob Duggar and their large brood for the broadcast. Michelle, the mother of 19 and grandmother of one, reported that little 8-month-old Josie, who has spent most of her life in the hospital, is now on the road to health. But will she be the Duggars' last baby? "When we look at Josie....even knowing that we went through the challenge that we did, we would do it again. We would welcome another (child)," the reality-TV mom said.

The Duggars revealed on Today that Josie has gained 10 pounds since her premature delivery in December 2009 (at a birth weight of less than two pounds). "She’s doing wonderful," said Michelle. "We are so grateful." Jim Bob Duggar echoed the sentiment: "They say by the time she’s 2 years old, she should catch up with someone developmentally who’s 2 years old. It’s amazing how well she’s doing."
Michelle says her health is also improved. "I definitely feel much better than I did seven and a half months ago with preeclampsia," she said. "My blood pressure is great now, and I feel good. I’m really thankful."
