First Lady in Red! Vote on Michelle Obama's Inaugural Gowns from 2009 & 2013

Michelle Obama choose Jason Wu for a second term, wearing dresses by the designer for the 2009 and 2013 inaugural balls. Vote on which was a better look for America's First Lady of fashion

For her husband’s inaugural ball in 2009, Michelle Obama chose a romantic white gown created by then little-known designer Jason Wu. Four years later, and Mrs. Obama turned to Wu again, this time selecting a red-hot chiffon and velvet number that showed off her killer arms and collarbone.

Some whispered the first time around that the First Lady's white dress was more appropriate for a walk down the aisle than the first dance with the new president. Well, there was nothing bridal about this year’s choice! Michelle’s ruby-red look was decidedly confident, sexy and glamorous—just like her new bangs.

Cast your vote above to tell us whether you think that the First Lady's inaugural look was better in 2009 or 2013. Then check out the Obama family's coordinated outfits from the president's swearing in earlier in the day.
