Keep your eyes peeled on your next trip to Target; that woman stocking her cart next to you might be the First Lady herself. Michelle Obama indulged her love of bargains with an incognito trip to Target yesterday. Disguised with dark glasses and a baseball cap, she spent 40 minutes strolling the aisles totally unrecognized at one of the retailer’s Virginia stores, the Today show reports.
The style icon's soft spot for affordable retailers like Gap, J.Crew -- and Target itself -- is well known, and she admits to missing the freedom of making impromptu runs to the mall. As for yesterday’s secret shopping escape, one thing’s certain: the First Pet will be happy indeed. Mrs. Obama reportedly stocked up on food and toys for the family dog, Bo.
