Michelle Williams in 'My Week with Marilyn'

To play cinema's ultimate sex symbol in November's My Week with Marilyn, Michelle Williams gained weight, padded her curves and studied Marilyn Monroe's mannerisms, day and night, for six months. "It felt like being reborn," Williams told Vogue. "It felt like breaking my body and remaking it in her image, learning how she walked and talked and held her head. None of that existed in my physical memory, and I knew I needed as much time as possible to make it part of me." The blonde beauty was so convincing in this role that she nabbed her first Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy/musical and received her third Oscar nomination because of it.
