It looks like Mr. Austin Powers himself really is an "International Man of Mystery!" According to the New York Post, Mike Myers married his longtime girlfriend Kelly Tisdale in a private ceremony five months ago in New York City.
Myers, 47, began dating Tisdale, who is now "30-something," in 2006, shortly after the funnyman"s split from his wife of 12 years, Robin Ruzan. But the Shrek star isn’t the first famous fellow Tisdale’s dated. She cuddled up to musician and producer Moby in the 1990s.
Myers’ rep confirmed that his client and Tisdale wed in a "beautiful" ceremony. Since the start of their relationship, the two have kept things under the radar and managed to stay out of the tabloids. Even so, keeping a wedding under wraps for five months is impressively secretive!
It was the actor’s now-ex-wife Ruzan who encouraged Myers to bring his famous Austin Powers character to the big screen. She’s also been credited for inspiring some of his iconic Saturday Night Live characters. We hope Tisdale will follow suit and inspire Myers to keep creating comedic gold!
