You may think that the toughest part of doing a sex scene in a Hollywood movie would be getting naked in front of an entire crew -- but according to Mila Kunis, you'd be wrong. The toughest part is watching the scene with your parents! Kunis, 27, says that her dad was so uncomfortable about her Black Swan sex scene with Natalie Portman, he didn't even want to see the film.
"He was like, 'I don't think I should see the movie,'" the actress told MTV News, adding, "I don't think any dad should see [their daughter's love scenes]. It's just not necessary."
Kunis wanted her father to see the dark ballet film, which contains her most dramatic and demanding performance ever. So she came up with a compromise.
"I was like, 'See the movie. There's going to be a point; get up and leave,'" she explains. And sure enough, when she went to the first screening with her parents, Kunis gave her dad the signal and he left the theater! "My poor dad -- God bless him," she adds.
As for the steamy scene itself, Kunis says that filming it was way less embarrassing than explaining it to the press afterward.
"Every time you do any love scene, it's just awkward, it is," she says, "but it's never uncomfortable after you do it the first or second time... We never discussed it. It was like the pink elephant in the room that was never touched upon until it was the day to shoot. Then we just did it really quickly and called it a day."
On the other hand, "talking about it for the next month" has made her realize how "weird" it was to get naked with her good pal Portman (in front of 150 crew members, no less!). "The more I talk about it, the more I have to think about it," she complains. Watch the video of her interview below.
We understand her embarrassment, but Mila Kunis ought to get used to talking about her love scenes...given that she spends a whole lot of her next movie, Friends with Benefits, between the sheets with Justin Timberlake!
