Mila Kunis knows how to work a handbag. High-end French designer Christian Dior has unveiled a new ad campaign for its Miss Dior bags, featuring the 28-year-old actress. (Yep, those are the stunning photos above.)
"I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior," said Kunis in a statement on Thursday. "The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication."
This campaign marks the first time that Kunis has been the face of a major designer; surprising, considering how gorgeous that face is! Perhaps it's because she's been considered a comedy actress throughout her career, beginning with her teen years on That '70s Show. That all changed with 2010's Black Swan, in which she showed that she could be serious (to the point of scary, even).
The serious side of Mila is in full effect in the Dior ads, which show the unsmiling actress striking supermodel-esque poses with several different styles of the Miss Dior bag. Dressed in black with her hair pulled into a chignon, she looks every bit the European supermodel.
"Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman," Dior's deputy manager says of their new model. "Her performance in Black Swan was remarkable. She is very gifted."
