Miley Cyrus looked extra curvy at recent gala events, causing her ample cleavage to come under intense scrutiny.
Her low-cut Roberto Cavalli gown flaunted her eye-popping assets at CNN's Heroes 2011 Awards ceremony Sunday night, and some media outlets even had plastic surgeons weigh in on whether her breasts had been augmented. But the 19-year-old actress and singer took to Twitter to insist that the gossip is simply not true.
"Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine," she twittered Tuesday afternoon. "I wish they'd realize you don't have to be fake to be beautiful!"
Her comment refers to Star Magazine's experts who went on record saying her breasts looked surgically enhanced.
"Her breasts are very nice and round and it looks like she has had them done," Dr. Tahl Humes of Colorado told Star. "If you look at the volume, it appears she has had a breast augmentation."
New Jersey-based plastic surgeon Dr. Brian Glaat agreed, noting that the Disney star "does indeed appear to have had a breast augmentation," and that her breasts are fuller than they were before.
But Cyrus, who walked the red carpet arm-in-arm with her handsome beau Liam Hemsworth, has another explanation for why some fans are surprised by her cleavage: "And I'm 19!!! BOOBS GROW PEOPLE!," she added on Twitter.
