"Super lazy Sunday! Can't wait for next week! It'll be filled with happiness," Cyrus, 19, wrote on Twitter.
Hmm, "filled with happiness" is certainly the kind of phrase people use in conjunction with weddings. And just a few days early, she'd tweeted the words, "I love being a 'fiancée.'" Then on Monday, she began tweeting lovey-dovey Duncan Sheik lyrics like this one: "I wouldn't mind if all my big plans fell apart. Left me empty handed I'll start again like new. If your with me how can I lose?" Is Miley picking out a first-dance song? Is she counting the days to her wedding? Is her wedding happening next week?
Okay, let's all take a deep breath for a moment. Just because Miley's week is going to be "filled with happiness" doesn't mean it's going to be accompanied by wedding bells. As People points out, she has a dog named Happy, so it could just mean she's having some puppy bonding time. Or maybe she's extra stoked for the Fourth of July fireworks.
More likely, she's excited about seeing Liam for one night in between his movie-star obligations. Hemsworth's rep says that the Hunger Games star, who has been filming a movie in New Orleans, will be back in Los Angeles for one night this week to get an Australians in Film Award on June 27. And Cyrus has been pretty busy herself, recording a new album in Miami. That's a long time apart for young people in love! Maybe Miley is just lonely -- it would explain why she's spending so much time reading 50 Shades of Grey.
While Cyrus is planning her wedding (whenever it may be), the rest of us are free to speculate about the dress, the location, and the maid of honor. Over at Popcrush, readers are voting over which of Miley's famous friends should lead her wedding party. Their candidates include Emily Osment, Ashley Greene, Kelly Osbourne, Khloe Kardashian, Taylor Swift and the current favorite pick, Demi Lovato. (What about her big sister Brandi Cyrus?)
Miley and Liam have been dating on and off since filming The Last Song together in 2009. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus said in a statement after Hemsworth popped the question.
