Best-selling author Nicholas Sparks is known for writing some of the most romantic stories. (Admit it: You cried during The Notebook!) So, what better place to fall in love than on the set of one of his movies?
Romance was certainly in the air during the filming of Sparks' latest book-turned-film, The Last Song, starring Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. The actors -- who made their first red-carpet appearance as a couple at the movie's recent premiere -- admit their onscreen flirtation quickly developed into the real thing.
Cyrus, 17, tells iVillage she fell for the 20-year-old Australian actor immediately. "We definitely had a cool connection," she says. "We were definitely in tune with each other."
For Hemsworth, it was Cyrus' down-to-earth attitude that attracted him. "She was just so normal," he says of the former Hannah Montana star. "She didn't act like she was the biggest pop star in the world."
