Miley Cyrus has broken the hearts of her Twitter followers by announcing that she has quit the social networking site for the sake of her relationship with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
"FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants me to delete mine with good reason," she Twittered before deleting her page.
Miley's mom has also jumped on the "quit the Twit" bandwagon, though her brother and sister have yet to cave.
Left in the dust are Miley's 1.1 million followers who just don't know what to do with themselves now that the teen sensation is giving her fingers a rest. Since her big announcement, "#mileycomeback" has become the top trending topic on Twitter.
