The broken-hearted star admitted to Seventeen in 2008 that she and the youngest of the Jonas Brothers clan had been “in love with each other,” adding, “For two years (Nick) was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn't fun.” On top of her breakup, the singer caught some serious heat thanks to photos that were circulating on the web of her and a friend sharing a piece of licorice á la Lady and the Tramp. "It's two girls at a sleepover, and if all of a sudden that's bad, then what is the world coming to?" she insisted to New York radio station Z-100.
