Mischa Barton Under Involuntary Psychiatric Hold
Chances are Mischa Barton is smoking is the wacky tobacky again.
Cops were called to the actress' house last night for a "medical issue."
"We responded to her home last night on a medical issue," Officer April Harding told UsMagazine.com. "We assisted with it. She was removed from her home."
There were no details given as to where she was taken, but a source close to the situation said that Mischa called the police herself while she was having a "freak out."
Sound like paranoia to me.
Mischa has already done a stint in rehab, which she entered after a 2008 arrest for DUI and marijuana possession. She was sentenced to 36 months probation, told to attend alcohol education classes and pay a fine.
Lay off the chronic, lady, it will fry your brain.
UPDATE: Mischa is under involuntary psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Access Hollywood reports.
A pal of the actress says Mischa "has been dealing with a lot of personal issues. I don't know if she really ever gave up some of the bad habits that had gotten out of control a couple years back."
The actress was scheduled to make an appearance at the premiere of her new film Homecoming Thursday night in New York City, but obviously won't be making it.
