Mischa Barton isn't having a lot of luck bouncing back from her rough year in 2009.
The former O.C. actress is being sued by a New York City landlord, who claims Barton has failed to keep up with her apartment's $7,000/month rent.
M.R.A. Realties has filed a complaint claiming Barton has ignored the company's attempts to collect three months' worth of rent on the residence, located in Manhattan's TriBeCa neighborhood. In addition to the back rent owed, the firm wants Barton to reimburse their legal expenses.
Barton took on the apartment last year, when she signed on to star in The CW's new series The Beautiful Life. Unfortunately, the show was canceled after only two episodes. The actress has reportedly moved back to L.A., but has flown to New York City recently for a stint on Law & Order: SVU.
