Mischa Barton to Accept Plea in DUI Case
Aw, shucks! It looks like Mischa Barton won't be doing jail time.
The actress, who was arrested in December for DUI, will reportedly plead "no contest" at her arraignment on Thursday, and will agree to serve a three-year unsupervised probation term. In addition, she will have to take a three-month alcohol-education class, and pay a fine of approximately $1,700. In return, the marijuana possession charge will be dropped and the driving without a license charge will be reduced to an infraction.
Oh well. I guess it's better than us having to deal with Mischa going to jail, and then getting released 82 minutes later.
