Flower Cookies

What better way to celebrate baby’s arrival than with a super-sweet garden-themed baby shower? We love how all the elements in a garden are about beautiful things and new beginnings -- just like baby! Check out this super creative, easy-to-whip-up, totally out of the box celebration complete with amazing crafty-cool touches. Your guests will think you slaved for months! (We won't tell!)

Flower Cookies
Create the illusion of "cookie flowers" sprouting up from the ground with these fruit-filled sweets.

What You’ll Need:
Artificial grass mat; round sandwich cookies; wooden appetizer skewers; decorative paper; scissors; and clear glue.

Directions:
Cut leaf shapes from the decorative paper -- one leaf for each cookie. Insert one of the wooden skewer into the filling layer of each cookie to create a “stem.” Attach a paper leaf to each stem using a small dab of glue. Let dry. Insert “cookie flowers” into the grass mat and serve.

Tip: Swap out the flower cookies for chocolate-dipped strawberries to create a "strawberry patch" for the dessert table!
