Mom and the Bogeyman: A Mother's Day Story - iVillage

My mom is a young mom, and grandma too. She was 17 when I was born, her 2nd child. I have 2 younger sisters as well.

My mom was always playing jokes and laughing with us, and one thing in particular my mom used to do was hide under our beds as we were getting ready to sleep and jump out and scare us. It seems odd, but it was so utterly mom, and also, my sisters and I were never afraid of bumps and noises in the night, or the boogeyman under the bed. It was just our mom, full of laughs, hugs, and goodnight kisses for us. My mom is the spunkiest person I know and I love her dearly!!!
