What's a little labor pain when there’s a vote to be cast? Galicia Malone, 21, wasn't about to let her baby's arrival stop her from filling out her first presidential election ballot, NBCNews.com reports. "I never voted before, so this made a major difference in my life," the Chicago woman told WBBM Newsradio. "I wanted it to be a stepping stone for my daughter." Malone was in labor -- her contractions just five minutes apart and her water already broken -- when she arrived at her polling place, voted and then drove herself on to the hospital, according to NBC. The name of her polling place? New Life Celebration Church. How perfect is that?
