Breastfeeding your newborn can come with some anxiety: Will he latch on? Will it hurt? Is he getting enough? But worrying about whether you're feeding your own baby or someone else's? Hello, panic attack! KARE11, NBC's Minneapolis affiliate, reports that's what happened recently at a hospital in Apple Valley, Minn., when Tammy Van Dyke discovered another mother was mistakenly given her son to breastfeed. The other woman told the nurse she didn't think the baby was one of the twins she had just delivered, according to the network, but she was told she was just tired. The mom then checked the child's ankle tag, and saw it was not her baby. Abbott Northwestern Hospital has apologized and says there will be consequences, KARE11 adds.
