Mom's Cheese Dip
This dip is so good the boys use to hide it from each other when they were little. When our boys were in College at the University of Minnesota, the football team (Gophers) always requested this cheese dip. I just had a request for the cheese dip today from a former Gopher.

| 1 lb. Jimmy Dean Regular Sausage or Turkey Sausage frozen | 12 oz. jar salsa (hot- mild) | |
| 1 lb. Velveeta cheese | green chiles (optional) |

Fully cook the sausage according to package directions. Drain the fat from the pan, then add the cheese and salsa. Cover and simmer all ingredients together, stirring occasionally, until cheese melts. Stir in the green chiles, if using.
