Who Had the Best and Worst Weekends? 'Breaking Bad'-dicts, Boob-Job Beggers and More!

From Breaking Bad returning to roadside breast-enhancement begging, find out who had epic wins and fails over the weekend

Best: 'Breaking Bad'-dicts (aka Everybody)

Frank Ockenfels/AMC

Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston), everybody’s favorite chemistry teacher-turned-methamphetamine kingpin, returned Sunday night for the second half of the fifth and final season of (the greatest show on TV) Breaking Bad. If Sunday night’s premiere was any indication of what’s to come, there is a long, jaw-dropping psychological journey ahead for audiences that will keep viewers guessing right up to the last minute. Not to mention the expertly written #LikeWhiteOnRicin hashtag used for last night’s episode. Winning all around.

Worst: 'Sharknado' FansSyFy

After the success of Sharknado (you know, that piece of Oscar bait about a tornado made up of sharks), the SyFy channel wasted no time announcing plans for a sequel. To drum up further anticipation, SyFy asked fans to submit potential names for the sequel, promising to choose the one they liked best. Despite receiving 5,000 submissions and such steller options as Sharknado 2: Chew York City they ended up going with Sharknado 2: The Second One. Sigh.

Best: This Puppy

Reddit user CorkyMonster posted this photo that reads “My puppy’s first time sticking her head out the window resulted in pure ecstasy.” We say any person or pup who finds this much joy is surely deserving of the “Best Weekend” accodale.

Worst: Spanish Construction Workers

Workers on a 47-story residential skyscraper in Spain's Costa Blanca region called the Benidorm Towers (which are meant to be a symbol of Spanish reemergence from a crippling financial crisis) probably aren’t looking forward to heading back to work today -- because, rumor has it, they have forgotten to include an elevator in the building. (Originally intended to be 20 stories, ambitious developers decided to double the size after starting the project. As such, an elevator reportedly exists for only the first 20 floors. We'll skip the penthouse. ¡Dios mío!

Best: Pixar Fans

Disney’s D23 Expo Fanfest (think of it like a ComicCon with more mouse ears) took place this past weekend, where Pixar made announcements about several upcoming films, including Inside Out and the much-anticipated Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory. While we're excited about Ellen DeGeneres reprising her Finding Nemo role as an amnesiac fish in Finding Dory, we're most excited about the animated Inside Out, which will take place inside the brain of a little girl and include voice work from Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling and Lewis Black. Or as we like to think of it, basically one of the best assortments of voice-over actors ever.

Worst: This Woman in Florida Begging for a Boob Job on the Side of the Road

A woman in Florida took to a busy Pensacola intersection with a sign reading “Not Homeless, Need Boobs” in an attempt to collect money for, you guessed it, breast-enhancement surgery. “I just want bigger boobs, because I’m not happy with the ones that I have," said Christina Andrews. "And I figured this was a good way to do it. People put out signs that they’re homeless. I’m not, so I’m just being honest.” No word on what that honesty earned her, other than some puzzled expressions from us, some actual contributions toward her boob fun and some more fodder for those who like to mock Florida.
