Mo'Nique's Tearful Speech

For the first award of the evening, Mo'Nique's role as Mary Jones in Precious earned her the award for best supporting actress in a drama. And her speech (like the film she won for) was a tear-jerker. The actress choked up as she thanked her husband Sidney Hicks -- to whom she's been married for four years but has been best friends with since grade school -- and recalled a once-upon-a-time moment that led to her dream coming true: "I look into the eyes of the man that I stood next to at 14 years old and said,'We're gonna be stars...' He said, 'You first.'"
