I know we’re all thinking about celebrating Memorial Day weekend with BBQs and picnics, and if the weather is nice enough maybe a party on the beach. But you must remember that with all the burgers and dogs, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you shouldn't skip it so you can eat more grub later.

I try not to leave the house without eating pancakes or egg in a nest, but for those who prefer a cup of cereal, this little item is for you.

And speaking of cereal. We received a box of Honey Nut Shredded Wheat the other day and Parenting and Pregnancy Producer, Diane Randall took it home to try. Here’s the verdict from her husband…

“It has flavor. It’s semi-sweet, but the sweetness is not overpowering. It’s very filling. It has a nice nutty taste. It loses a little bit of crunch in milk, but it’s not mushy after 15 minutes, so it seems to stand up to milk well.”

So there you have it – great cereal to try and now no excuses for not eating breakfast everyday!
