Do you find Pippa Middleton fascinating? If so, you're not alone. The British party planner, who shot to popularity earlier this year as the world's most famous (and most lusted after) maid of honor, is one of a handful of individuals Barbara Walters will honor during her "10 Most Fascinating People of 2011" special, set to air Dec. 14 on ABC.
Middleton's sister Kate, a.k.a. the Duchess of Cambridge, made Walters' list last year, but apparently now it is Pippa's turn to shine. The announcement couldn't be more timely, as the younger Middleton recently signed a highly lucrative deal to write a party-planning book.
It wouldn't be a "most fascinating" list without at least one member of the Kardashian clan representing. Luckily (we guess), Babs' list contains at least four Kardashians -- sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, and mom Kris Jenner -- though, for the purposes of the list, they only count as one person (fitting?).
From Kourtney's recent baby news to Kim's 72-day-long marriage, the Beverly Hills family that's famous for, well, being famous has kept American captivated all year long.
Also making the already-announced portion of the list are Katy Perry, Donald Trump, Derek Jeter and Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson -- celebs who were arguably more fascinating in 2010 than they were in 2011.
If you're keeping tabs, that means that ABC has only announced eight of the 10 people so far, and won't reveal the most fascinating person of the year or the runner-up until the special airs Dec. 14. Hopefully it will be someone like Ryan Gosling or Beyonce -- but if it isn't Gosling, get ready for his fans to protest!
