In a Nutshell: Inspired by the 1980 film and the television show, this updated version follows another generation of students at a Manhattan high school for performing arts. The cast that includes a reunion of Cheers alums Kelsey Grammer and Bebe Neuwirth, as well as talented newcomers Asher Book and Kay Panabaker.
Why We Can't Wait: Before there was High School Musical, there was Fame, and for kids growing up on Hannah Montana, Zac Efron and Taylor Swift, this has must-see appeal for a wide variety of age ranges and both genders -- and won't be a bore for moms, either.
