The Nightmare before Christmas in 3D

Release Date: Oct. 23
In a Nutshell: Like the first two Toy Story movies, Tim Burton's spooky The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) about Halloween King Jack Skellington's adventures gets the 3-D treatment.
Why We Can't Wait: This technology currently works so much better in movie theaters than on DVD screens that it's definitely worth the trek to the theater -- and braving concessions prices -- to get the full impact of 3-D. And, with a movie like this, kids can see it repeatedly. But beware, it can inspire real nightmares in young children.
Rating: PG
Age Clearance: Good for kids 8+.
