In a Nutshell: Maurice Sendak's modern literary classic, detailing the adventures of the unruly Max and his fantastic beasts, gets the big-screen treatment from Spike Jonze (Adaptation).
Why We Can't Wait: One of our absolutely favorite books is getting adapted by a visionary with a child-like touch. We can't wait to see this mix of CGI graphics and live action -- and we'll send anyone who disagrees to bed without supper!
Rated: PG
Age Clearance: Good for kids 6+, because giant monsters on the big screen present scarier than those on the page.
