Movies in the Park

Scope out your local entertainment listings to see if any place is offering any type of Summer Movies in the Park series. Usually free (score!), these screenings are a great way for younger kids to be able to still play quietly (double score!) while the rest of the family gets engrossed in the film. The movies they show usually fall into one of two categories—classics (and that can mean Casablanca or Raiders of the Lost Ark) or kid-friendly flicks. So depending on who’s in your clan, it’s probably a win-win either way.
