How They Met

Jada Pinkett and Will Smith met in 1990 on the set of his sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, where she was auditioning for the role of his girlfriend. Nia Long eventually won the part -- at 5' tall, Jada was considered too short to match up with the 6'2" Will -- but the two became friends. After his breakup with first wife Sheree in 1995, they became closer as Jada helped the actor/rapper through his divorce.
