One of the stars of MTV's Teen Mom was reportedly choked and struck by her mother over the weekend.
According to Iowa's Daily Nonpariel, Farrah Abraham, 18, and her mother, Debra Danielson, got into an altercation at their home in Council Bluffs, Iowa, over "childcare issues and other problems." According to the paper, Danielson (who is also featured on the MTV show) threw a shirt at her daughter, which landed near her infant Sophia, who began crying. When Abraham yelled about the thrown shirt, Danielson allegedly grabbed her by the throat and "struck her on the right side of the head and her mouth." The report notes that Abraham had "multiple cuts" on her lips.
Danielson, 54, was arrested on suspicion of domestic abuse/serious assault. Past episodes of Teen Mom have documented the tumultuous relationship between the two women.
