Multigrain vs. Whole Wheat?

I frequently have peanut butter on a whole wheat English muffin for breakfast. Recently at the store, I saw a brand that had fewer calories, and quite a bit more fiber. However, it was not 100% whole wheat or whole grain. Is it better to eat the whole wheat, or the multigrain with more fiber? (I was unable to find any that had as much fiber as the multigrain.)

A: Both are good choices. Sometimes, the 100% whole wheat english muffins are a little bigger - and have more calories. For the calorie-conscious, there are 100 cal english muffins, with fiber (sometimes a few extra grams added) and protein.

I love your combination of PB and the whole grain muffin. 100% whole wheat is just one whole grain option. A multigrain often has a different flavor - still nutty like 100% whole wheat, but containing oats, etc...for a great taste as well as high nutrition.
