Nanaimo Bars

Named for Nanaimo, British Columbia, just a heroic snowball’s throw from Olympic Village, this three-layer no-bake confection is a triumph of chocolate and custardy cream. The bottom crumb crust, typically made with graham crackers, cocoa and coconut, is topped with a vanilla-pudding-like layer, then finished off with a thin layer of velvety chocolate.
