Nancy Grace: Weight Loss Is a Positive Side-Effect to 'DWTS'

Ricki Lake may be upfront about her desire to shed the pounds on Dancing with the Stars, but fellow season 13 contestant Nancy Grace isn't as concerned about the weight loss.

Grace, 51 told People last month that she'd already lost 10 pounds since starting to practice with dancing pro Tristan McManus for the reality competition. When asked how many pounds she's lost backstage on Monday, however, the television anchor redirected the conversation to her handsome partner.

"I've noticed Tristan has lost a lot of weight," she joked after the show. "He really needed to. He was carrying way too many pounds around."

Unlike Lake, who has made it her mission to transform her body on the show before shopping for wedding dresses for her upcoming nuptials, it seems Grace is rather shy about the subject.

"This has been a great side effect to dancing, so I'm happy," she said, after revealing that she's lost a total of 16 pounds. "But I just think women should love their bodies like they are."

And as for Grace's husband, investment banker David Linch, he apparently doesn't care whether she slims down or not. "I don't think he's even noticed," she said.
