Fall TV's Must-Watch New Shows!

'Nashville'


Premieres: Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC

What it's about: Connie Britton plays a Bonnie Raitt-esque country singer who's facing dwindling sales in a music biz obsessed with the next pretty face. Forced to open for a country pop diva (played with menacing aplomb by Hayden Panetierre), she must fight for her career and her dignity. Meanwhile, her rich and powerful father is grooming her husband for public office.

Why we can't wait: TV Line's Matt Webb Mitovich already calls himself "a huge fan," and other critics have registered similarly positive feedback.
