Natalie Portman in H&M's Conscious Collection

H&M's eco-friendly fashions you can afford

One of my favorite Academy Award moments didn't happen on stage or even on the red carpet. It was the moment the gorgeous Natalie Portman donned this super-sweet dress -- which she bought at H&M! The dress is from H&M's Conscious Collection, a line of clothing made with sustainable, earth-friendly materials. Natalie's lace-sleeved babydoll dress in pure white is made from 100% recycled polyester and retails for $49.99. The pregnant star --who just scooped up the Academy Award for Best Actress -- the dress to Vanity Fair's celebratory bash. Stunning!

And honestly, I would have loved this collection even without the glowing celeb's endorsement. Eco-friendly clothing is the epitome of feel-good fashion, and at H&M's more-than-reasonable prices, there's really no way to go wrong here. The blouses, dresses, t-shirts, and tunics are simple but romantic; ditto for casual-but-polished shorts and pants. I'm in love with the Conscious Collection color palette: earthy, natural whites, creams, beiges and ivories.

Doing our part to help the environment never looked so good! The collection is available at H&Ms nationwide. P.S., be sure to check out the Conscious Collection's menswear and childrenswear lines, too.
