Nausea at Ovulation

Can a person suffer a form of "morning sickness" while ovulating? In the last few months, I have been feeling very queasy at the time that I should be ovulating.

This is a common symptom of ovulation, sometimes to the extent that women vomit -- but usually less severely than occurs with pregnancy. Often, women don't realize that this is cyclic, happening at mid-cycle.

Occasionally, women undergoing fertility treatments or hormonal treatments are more susceptible to nausea during ovulation, as are women on other drugs such as anti-inflammatory medications or those taking large doses of vitamin C. Of course, it's a good idea to have this checked out by your primary-care provider if it continues.
