Neil Gets the Party Started

Adorable host Neil Patrick Harris opened the show by belting out musical number "Put Down the Remote." The former Tony Awards host brought a taste of Broadway to the show and used his expert singing to deliver playful jabs to the night's nominees. And he even took it one step further, pointing out who wasn't in the audience: "Every dame looks so luscious and cool. But like next season on Idol…I'm not seeing Paula Abdul!"
