A New Kids' TV Career for Conan? (Hey, Why Not?!)

We all know by now that Conan O'Brien is looking for work in the entertainment field. While he’s trolling Monster.com, he should know that no TV demographic is as loyal as the kids' audience. Think about it: if he became a hit with kid viewers, he'd also be entitled to a hit album or two (see Miley Cyrus and Serena Gomez), a feature live-action film, a voice role in an animated film and an eventual slew of Kids Choice Awards.

So bring on the pitches! Here are five ideas for TV pilots starring the pale and towering comedy pro.

Premise: As host of a web-only kids' show, Conan faces a moral dilemma when NBC wants the show for their Saturday morning online schedule (sweetening the deal by promising a role in JONAS once the Jonas Brothers move on!).

Conan the Librarian
Premise: An educational PBS series with Conan bringing classic literature to life through sketch comedy (with assists from Andy Richter, Max Weinberg, and LeVar Burton). Alternate title: Gullible's Travels.

SpongeBob with Conan O'Brien
Premise: Conan takes over for Patchy the Pirate after Patchy's offered his own late-night show on NBC in the 12:34 to 12:52 a.m. time slot.

I Scream Conan
Premise: In this flip on Hannah Montana, Conan is a rock star masquerading as a stay-at-home dad to his gossipy teen daughter (ideal casting: Taylor Swift, who would show both emotions in her range). But Conan's paternity is challenged when someone notices they share no genetic attributes other than height.

The Suite Life of Zack and Conan
Premise: A freak accident aboard the S.S. Tipton magically ages Cody into a gangly, 46-year-old comedian with floppy red hair. Mayhem ensues when Conan/Cody refuses to watch TV after his late local news ends.
