The Obamas will soon have new next-door neighbors at their Hyde Park residence in Chicago. Yesterday this 17-room, 6,000-square-foot colonial was taken off the market by a local Chicagoan for $1.4 million. The century-old mansion needs some work--but the new owners are reportedly planning to spend $1 million on renovations. Not a bad price for the opportunity to borrow sugar from the First Family.
