While checking out West Elm's spring sneak peeks, I was happy to see some of the cool new collaborations that are underway. For starters, the retailer has teamed with artist Jason Polan—whom New Yorkers know as the man determined to sketch every person in the city—to offer a collection of completely charming wall art, decoupage trays, pillow covers and more.
Also, you know when you flip through a catalog (hello, Anthropologie!) and the best stuff is what's not for sale: the props and artwork used just for styling? Well, the new West Elm catalogs feature work from Etsy artists, and, yes, you can actually buy it!
Other stuff I'm psyched about: New rugs by folks such as artists Lourdes Sanchez and David Stark (love his fun take on the classic jute rug!), plates by Sesame Letterpress and these Aid to Artisans pillows.
So, get excited! After all, it's nearly spring ... right?
