Wilmer Valderamma is like a bad penny. Dude just keeps showing up everywhere. I think I'm going to start referring to him as Ashton Kutcher-lite. The former That '70s Show star is now in talks with the producers of American Idol to develop and possibly star in series projects for Fremantle Media North America. There's no word yet on what the shows will be about, but apparently their talking about both scripted and reality series.
Ooh, here's my pitch for their first show: Becoming Ashton Kutcher -- starring Wilmer himself.
In the meantime, Wil is starring as Ponch in the film version of the old TV series CHiPs. Did Erik Estrada's role really need to be reprised? Are there any Wilmer fans out there? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this kid.
