New Year's Eve Clutch Essentials

From the midnight kiss to the dancing fit, how prepared are you for the night?

You don't even know how you got here. Hello, year's end -- what the heck happened? I know that's what I'm thinking the morning of New Year's Eve. It's time to party like it's... 2011, and I still feel like I can't prepare for tonight's festivities enough. Are you ready?

If you have these purse musts or comparable items, you should be good to go:

For the sweat: You obviously can't lug the signature scent sitting on your vanity -- it's too big to fit in a clutch. But then again, you know you'll be sweating bullets from all the dancing and partying. Solution? Carry a fragrance sample to dab behind your year. You can also buy tiny rollerball versions of your fave fragrances at Sephora stores!

For the kiss: At the strike of midnight, get ready, girl. Keep your breathe fresh with gum, or you can rub some Supersmile Quikee Mini Gel ($6 at Supersmile) on your teeth to stay kissable and picture-ready all night. And, don't forget about your lips! Use the Sugar Lip Treatment with SPF 15 ($22.50 at Fresh). Its blend of oils, waxes and real sugar will keep you chapped- free and smoochable all winter.

For the dancing: Who are you kidding? You won't be able to dance in the heels all night. Arm yourself with these CitySlips Ballet Flats ($24.95 at City Slips) or any other pair of bendy flats in your wardrobe. Just roll them up and throw 'em in your purse. If you refuse to kick the heels, at least use these Killer Kushionz ($6.50 at Foot Petals).

For the memories: Freeze the fun times using a digital camera. If it's as small and cute as this Polaroid i836 Pink 8.0MP Digital Camera ($47.49 at Overstock), even better!

Long after New Year's Eve, these tips are still relevant for the usual girls night out or date rendezvous. Now go and enjoy, ladies! See you next year!
