Two's Company: Mirrored Frames

At the New York International Gift Fair, I was on the hunt for industrial and mirrored accessories, one of the top home decor trends for 2011. And I wasn't disappointed! I found gorgeous stainless steel lamps mirrored side tables and floating frames.

So how can these accents work in your home? I love mixing and matching industrial and mirrored accessories with different fabrics—I find that hard finishes like stainless steel, pewter and silverplate look great when paired with warm, bright fabrics in pinks, oranges and reds. The same metal gives off a sleek, clean look when paired with more neutral colors like khaki, black and white.
