For the first time, a private company has launched a vessel to the International Space Station. Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk's SpaceX program launched the rocket Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Titusville, Florida on May 22. The unmanned rocket carried into orbit a capsule named Dragon that is packed with 1,000 pounds of space station provisions.
