Nick Cannon is over the moon about being a new dad! In a frankly adorable new interview with Perez Hilton, the America's Got Talent host gushes about his family with wife of four years Mariah Carey. Wearing cufflinks that say "Dad" ("That's my title," he brags), Cannon, 30, says that his 1-month-old twins are already starting to act like their famous parents -- for better or worse!
"They have personalities!" Cannon says of children Monroe and Moroccan. "It's crazy 'cause you can see that my son (Morroccan) is more like me -- he's more chill and laid back."
"My daughter (Monroe), that's her mother's child!" he continues. "She's a diva. She sleeps like this with her hand up. When she wants something, she's instantly crying, and you know she's gonna be a little handful." (Watch the interview below!)
Really, though, aren't most babies divas when you think about it? Demanding food and attention all the time, crying to get what they want... If they knew how to demand white lilies, bowls of green M&Ms and freshly squeezed mango juice for their dressing rooms, they'd all be little Celines and Mariahs!
But we digress. Honestly, Cannon is incredibly sweet when he talks about his babies and the love of his life, Mariah Carey -- whom he admits was his "celebrity crush" when he was a kid (at 41, Carey is 11 years Cannon's senior). He describes their six-hour phone calls after they first met, saying it was a total infatuation, "like that junior high love." Now they're four years into their marriage and are raising two kids together, although Cannon says they're unlikely to have more.
"I think my wife is done," he says. "I make threats of getting her pregnant, but... we got a boy and a girl. I am overly satisfied."
