Nick Jonas finally broke his silence on fellow Disney star Demi Lovato and her recent struggles. After months of performing with the Jonas Brothers as a part of the Camp Rock 2 tour, Lovato dropped out in October and entered into rehab for "emotional issues."
The Jonas Brothers -- including Joe Jonas, who dated Lovato last year -- have remained pretty quiet about the embattled singer-actress’ departure from their tour and her recent release from rehab. But Wednesday night, E! News asked the youngest Jonas, 18, what his thoughts were on Lovato and her recovery.
"I think that I’ll always wish her the best and hope that she’s had a good recovery, and just all of our thoughts and prayers are with her," he said, looking a little uncomfortable after having been put on the spot.
Jonas also talked about working with other artists and producing music and discussed his brother Joe’s upcoming album. "He’s talking about real stuff," he explained. "I think people are gonna get a look into what his life has been like for the past few years."

Lovato has been more outspoken about her recovery, releasing a video and thanking fans for their well wishes. The starlet even got a new tattoo to commemorate the unconditional support of her fans during her "darkest time."
