Nicole Richie's blonde ambition has returned!
The former reality star showed off her new lighter locks on her personal website Thursday, under the heading "Makeover Madness." Richie wrote that she and some stylist friends took a page from their favorite Alicia Silverstone movie, which resulted in her new 'do.
"Last night we played Clueless. Andy (Lecompte) and George (Papanikolas) played Cher & Dionne, and I played Tai (who was played by the late Brittany Murphy)," she blogged. "'Aahhh!! Project!'"
The former blonde debuted brunette locks in December 2009, saying she was "ready for a change." This week she was ready to switch it up again.
"I change my hair color all the time, and I hadn't done it in a few years," she said. "With the babies, I just really hadn't had time. I'm so used to having that change all the time, and I hadn't done it in about two years, so I was just ready and sick of being blonde!"
