Whew! That was a close one. Reports surfaced yesterday that Suri Cruise, the adorable spawn of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, had hooked a deal with Baby Gap, to be their new little face. But a rep for TomKat and their kitten say it's so not happening. Which is a good thing, if you ask me. That child, though absolutely a cutie-patootie, does not need anymore exposure than she already has. Not that I think she could possibly have a normal life, even without modeling at the very young age of 16 months, but there's no reason to start pimping her put now. I'm sure Suri is much too busy, anyway, to take on a job. She's already in competition with the likes of Maddox Jolie-Pitt to be the most traveled child on the planet.
