Call it what you will -- walking through opportunity’s door, striking while the iron’s hot, or riding a famous sibling’s coattails. The 9-year old kid sister of Miley Cyrus -- Noah Cyrus -- and Noah's 8-year-old friend, child actress Emily Grace Reaves, have teamed up with Ooh! La, La! Couture designers to create a high-end kids' clothing line called the Emily Grace Collection.
A new press release describes the trendy designs as “versatile styles that can be worn with sweet ballerina slippers, casual sneakers or paired with lace stockings and boots for more of a rock and roll look.” In this clip on CocoPerez.com, Reaves (who played Cindy Lou in 2009's Hannah Montana: The Movie), shows Miley, 17, her self-designed outfit: a leopard-print dress with a short skirt, fingerless black gloves, fishnet stockings and boots. “I want one of those,” says Miley as she takes in Reaves’ ensemble. “I love your line.”
For a 17-year-old pop star -- or a headliner at the Moulin Rouge -- the tarty get-up might seem ideal. (Not so ideal for grade-schoolers in the real world, who tend to spend their days riding the school bus and hanging around playgrounds with the other jeans-and-T-shirt-wearing kids.) The press release for the collection says it was created to benefit the young actress' Lollipops and Rainbows charity.
