Northeast: DePaul & St. John's

Deep Dish Pizza with Prosciutto, Burrata, and Arugula
vs.
Roasted Cherry Tomato and Rosemary Pizza

It’s a Big East match-up of epic dough proportions as we pit Chicago’s DePaul University against New York’s St. John’s University. And the culinary debate is as old as chicken vs. egg. The Windy City’s legendary deep dish or the Big Apple’s thinner portable crust?

This time we’re putting them through their paces all gussied up. Will the uber-Italian flavors of the deep dish (straight out of a Top Chef challenge) conquer all? Or will the red-and-white-and-herbaceous-all over thin crust option earn the bragging rights? They’ve both got three-point potential. The real question is: which one do you want to bite into before the buzzer?
